James "Jimmy" Trivette is one of the main characters in Walker, Texas Ranger.

He is often made fun of by Cordell Walker and also looks for money-making oppurtunities wherever he goes.

James is a good-hearted person, with a sense of wrong and right, but does get carried away on his money-making exploits. He does have some fighting skill, but not on the same level as Cordell Walker or Trent Malloy.

Regardless of Cordell's gentle teasing, Trivette is fiercly loyal to him and the police.
